北派狮舞以表演“武狮”为主，小狮一人舞，大狮双人舞，一人站立舞狮头，一人弯腰舞狮身和狮尾。狮子表演腾翻、扑跌、跳跃、蹿高、朝拜等技巧，并有走梅花桩、窜桌子、踩滚球等高难度动作。

This style is focused on the "Warrior Lion." The small lion is danced by a single person, while the large lion involves two dancers. One person stands to perform the lion's head, while the other person bends over to portray the lion's body and tail. The performance involves techniques such as tumbling, leaping, jumping, and high jumps, along with challenging moves like dancing on plum blossom stands, darting across tables, and balancing on rolling balls.
南派狮舞以表演“文狮”为主，表演时讲究表情，有搔痒、抖毛、舔毛等动作，惟妙惟肖，逗人喜爱。
On the other hand, the "Southern Lion Dance" emphasizes the portrayal of a "Cultural Lion". Performers showcase various expressions, including scratching, shaking off fur, and licking fur, demonstrating remarkable realism and charming the audience with their lifelike movements.
